PS3 price cut announced by Sony

Sony has announced a price cut for the PS3 their press conference in Germany.

All European regions will now buy the PlayStation 3 slimline model for $249 able. The console North American price is now $249.99. UK see a fall in prices up to £ 249. Japan, sees a prize at ¥ 24,980 now fall.

So basically: €249 - Europe / $249 - United States / £ 249 - United Kingdom.

The previous official recommended retail price for the console was £ 291.05.

The price cut will be applied to two different models of slim PS3. The 320 GB and 120 GB models have both received price reductions. Amazon UK has already cut the price of Sony's platform;  the 320 GB model now has a price of £ 215.20, which consumers save a considerable amount: £ 75.85, representing a reduction of 26 percent from the original price.

The 160 GB PS3 is now now on the online retailer of £ 192.00 slim model, with its suggested retail price before being £ 255.30-consumers save £ 63.30, resulting a reduction of 25 percent.
